EINSTEIN,TESLA,EDISON & THE SECRET DOCTRINE
Recently, I have in both reading and some internet searches come across references and/or hints that H.P.B.'S massive work,THE SECRET DOCTRINE, influenced these three particular geniuses in some way...though perhaps critics will claim otherwise and attempt to minimize whatever readings in the book they may have actually done.....Nevertheless, some things are most intriguing and I shall add links to the internet that both support and debunk these assertions...... In my blog on,THE WAY OF THE YOGI, I have already mentioned some of this but want to enter the topics here also, but perhaps in a differing way........Modern Physics in its extreme forms has been connected up and attached to certain 'Mystical' forms and subjects, from Taoism to physiology.....and psychology....and in the more abstruse and complex discussions on all this, one can easily lose one's way, especially if intense enthusiasm is aroused, as has been the case with zealous writers and 'researchers'......numerous popular books are covering these things in both interesting and overstated ways....tending to devote much time and space to certain things that seem 'true' or 'factual' but with a great deal of 'stretch'.... Electro-magnetism is,of course, a subject only a few persons really understand, let alone try to manipulate or utilize outside of 'experimental' labs and the like for various obvious reasons....but guys like Faraday and Edison and several others did so before the big boys of government/military took over along with certain corporations that made profits from such discoveries for 'the benefit of all mankind'....... However, the general populace should not ignore this field as they are in the midst of several electro-magnetic fields of which they are usually completely oblivious and that also includes certain 'radiations' of both beams and rays.......and signals and the like....but no need to get exactly paranoid over this but it will be best if one is aware of such and notice where these things are in theeir daily life....before it is too late.... Eventually, I hope to expand on this particular topic but right now I merely wish to point out that Ancient Philosophy from India and the Orient has had its influence on people, especially Tesla and Edison......and possibly Einstein....Check out the links and do your own research for the moment and make your own conclusions if you can...that is, based one evidence and credibility and not emotion and mere speculation.....

You will need to become familiar with the ORIGINAL 2-volume,turned into one single one,of THE SECRET DOCTRINE...the five volume edition is heavily edited and also contains extraneous things....H.P.B. planned a third and perhaps actually began writing it and claims to a third volume have never really been substantiated beyond a few 'rough drafts' and the like.... by doing this you can then begin to study and examine all the claims made in various ways, from websites to other magazines and videos,etc. How far anyone wishes to go along this path is up to them, of course, but it can be most difficult and filled with contradictions and pitfalls, no doubt, if you are not versed in the basics of things....
ReplyDeleteOn THE FOURTH WAY,LA which is on FACEBOOK, I have met several interesting people who post things and some have done this on TESLA, the genius who,like some others kept a copy of this work by Madame Blavatsky. I hope to add more information on all of this, but there is a lot of speculation on all these subjects that requires a sense of discrimination and intelligence,rather than fantastic, emotional/devotional and unverified claims and statements that unsupported but insisted upon by fanatical followers of various persuasions too numerous to mention here.
ReplyDeleteI tried to post some further comments which suggested reading ISIS UNVEILED, the earlier work before THE SECRET DOCTRINE. Both of these volumes are fairly 'massive' and are in parts, usually two, although the THE SECRET DOCTRINE has been published in around five volumes which are somewhat 'controversial' compared to the original one available in one volume. What I wish to say is that for those interested in the 19th century Science and even earlier, ISIS UNVEILED gives a substantial summary and also some other details are given in THE SECRET DOCTRINE. Mr. Ouspensky and Mr. Gurdjieff were apparently acquainted with much of the science, technology, etc. of the times,about which I plan to say much more than here today. TESLA has some things that make him somewhat interesting in relation to Mr. Gurdjieff as well as to Mr. Ouspensky,which are to be found, upon careful reading, in this book which I suggest everyone interested in this area read. The book is WIZARD, THE LIFE & TIMES OF NIKOLA TESLA, BIOGRAPHY OF A GENIUS, by MARC.J.SEIFER,1998. The book contains many facts and tidbits about Tesla that many do not know,never thought much about, or ignored, as well as covering essential aspects to be found in biographies of this nature. For example, in reading this carefully and in detail, one finds that TESLA was interested in yoga,read the works of Voltaire and David Hume, among others, and knew and met Lord Kelvin who had proposed turning garbage into fuel for electrical transmission, among other interesting people that Tesla met or knew. I hope to add more on these at another time. Certain aspects of TESLA'S early life and his aspirations,etc.seem to somewhat parallel briefly to Mr. Gurdjieff's, namely in the quest for truth perhaps. Interestingly enough, both were involved with 'Eastern' Orthodox Religion and the church and TESLA knew and spoke and read a great many languages as well. TESLA met LORD KELVIN who was proposing the use of garbage to produce fuel for electrical transmission something well ahead of his time and which only now is being seriously done and studied, among other things. Of course, Lord Kelvin also had a lot of other interests. Both Kelvin & Tesla apparently become interested in 'LIFE ON MARS' and so on, a topic that comes and goes as we have seen, even recently. Others involved.
